Effects of the Follicular Menstrual Phase on Forearm Vascular Conductance in Abdominal Obese Premenopausal Women During Graded Handgrip Exercise

چکیده

Abstract Purpose Previous studies have reported a sympatholytic action of estrogen on the vasculature in response to increased sympathetic outflow, an effect most notable during exercise, providing for necessary increases blood flow working muscle. In contrast, elevated concentrations progesterone can inhibit this estrogen, impairing flow. We hypothesize that peak concentration proliferative portion follicular phase menstrual cycle female humans will increase vascular conductance exercise when effects are negligible. addition, we overweight abdominally obese females attenuated dynamic same phase. Methods Participants engaged graded forearm using isotonic handgrip dynometer with sequential resistance at cadence 30 contractions/minute until task failure. They performed time points corresponding low both sex hormones and while remained low. Blood were measured Doppler ultrasound. Results This revealed trend abdominal women had lower overall than healthy controls matching stages rest exercise. group difference was circulating estrogen. There is not statistically significant interaction between Ovarian Phase Weight ( P = 0.778). Conclusion The results indicate disadvantage increasing muscles, which be detrimental fitness improvement early potentially late cycle.

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

Forearm elevation augments sympathetic activation during handgrip exercise in humans.

Although angina pectoris in patients with coronary heart disease often occurs when their forearms are in an elevated position for a prolonged period, and sympathetic activation is a major cause of this condition, little is known about the physiological effects of forearm elevation on sympathetic activity during forearm exercise. We hypothesized that forearm elevation augments sympathetic activa...

Effects of menstrual cycle phase on metabolomic profiles in premenopausal women.

BACKGROUND Characterization of the normal degree of physiological variation in the metabolomic profiles of healthy humans is a necessary step in the development of metabolomics as both a clinical research and diagnostic tool. This study investigated the effects of the menstrual cycle on (1)H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) derived metabolomic profiles of urine and plasma from healthy women. ...

on translation of politeness strategies in dialogues involving female characters in translations and retranslations of novels translated before and after the islamic revolution of iran and their effects on the image of women: a polysystem theory approach

abstract reception environment has considerable effects on accepting a translation. as the expectations of a target culture and its values and needs change throughout history, its criteria for accepting a translation or rejecting it will change accordingly (gentzler, 2001). the expectations of iran, as the reception environment in the present study, have changed after the islamic revolution. i...
